Booking Your Wedding Photography

Booking all of the elements of your wedding can be a daunting task so I've tried to include all of the information that you need to make your decisions, including details on how to proceed if you decide that I'm the right photographer for capturing your very special wedding day. You can also message me or ask me to give you a call any time to talk through other questions or requests you may have.

What do I need to do now?

If you've decided which package you would like, I just need a few more details from you and a €200 deposit to secure your date. Let me know details for you both: names, postal address, email address and phone numbers, along with details of your wedding day: locations for your preparations, ceremony and reception, along with rough timings if you know them. I'll then send you a copy of your wedding contract to sign digitally (which contains details for the deposit payment). And that's it! Once I receive your signed contract and deposit, you're all booked in, and can tick one more thing off your wedding 'to do' list.

Creating albums is a huge part of my complete service for my couples. Digital images are fantastic and perfect for quickly sharing the memories of your days with friends and family, but a beautifully crafted, personalised wedding photo album will last for generations - forever transporting you back to that wonderful day. In days to come, each time you open your album to reminisce about your day, you will be so glad that you made the investment in such a high-quality, printed album, perhaps even pointing out guests and telling stories of the day to those not even born yet when you said your 'I dos'.

What happens once I'm booked in?

I'll send you out my information booklet that gives you some more information in preparation for your day regarding your photography. Then nearer to you date, you'll receive a questionnaire which ensures that I have all of the details specific to your day, including timings, group photo lists and those little things that will make your wedding so special and unique to you. A few weeks before your wedding, we'll catch up to answer any last minute questions and to start the countdown to your big day! But at any point, I'm always available to contact whenever you need to.

Ready to go?

If you've already checked my availability, just send me your remaining details and I'll put your contract together.

My contract terms:

  • Deposit paid at time of booking secures your wedding date and is non-refundable.
  • Payment of balance is due no later than the day before the wedding.
  • The client may cancel this contract at any time by giving written notice to the photographer but in doing so shall forfeit any monies paid. Cancellation less than 4 weeks (28 days) prior to the wedding date will result in the remaining balance in full becoming due.
  • Photographs will be delivered to client via password protected online gallery as full resolution JPEG files with printing rights within 8 weeks of wedding date. It should be noted that you are strongly advised to immediately copy/backup your wedding photographs in a number of locations. Digital media has a limited lifespan and therefore any storage device cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. Your online gallery will be available for 12 months from the date of your wedding.
  • The photographer maintains copyrights of photographs and the rights to use photographs for editorial, advertising and other purposes. (If you do not wish for your photos to appear publicly then please just let me know)
  • The photographer provides the client with a print release for all delivered photographs for personal use, permission to share on social media and distribute to friends and family. The client must not use the photographs for commercial purposes or financial gain, nor release the photographs to third parties.
  • All images presented to the client are the final selection. Any other images will not have passed quality control and therefore will not be processed or released to the client.
  • The Photographer will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching. It is impossible to record digitally the exact colour as seen by the human eye. Due to a variety of lighting conditions and the limitations of digital sensors, some colours may alter throughout a set of photographs.
  • Due to the limitations of computer monitors, images appear differently according to the specification of each monitor and print colours will not identically match images rendered on any particular computer monitor.
  • At certain venues, the photographer's movements are sometimes restricted by the official in charge. The area from which the photographer is able to cover the ceremony may not be the photographer's choice and the photographer cannot accept responsibility for any obstructed view should this be the case.
  • Although all equipment is checked regularly and backup equipment is available, including camera bodies, the photographer will not be responsible for photographs that are not produced due to technical failure beyond the photographer’s control. In the unlikely event of total photographic failure, the photographer’s liability shall be limited to a full refund of any fees paid.
  • In the unlikely event of the photographer being unable to complete the coverage due to unforeseen circumstances (such as severe illness), the photographer reserves the right to appoint another photographer to attend on their behalf to undertake the photography.
  • The photographer holds public liability insurance.
  • Any album designs will be completed by the photographer within four weeks of the client selecting their final photographs. Photos must be selected by the client within 6 months of receiving their online gallery, or additional charges may be payable in the case of increased prices from the supplier. Once designed and approved by the client, albums orders will be sent to the print supplier, at which point order completion and delivery times will be reliant upon the print company and beyond the photographer’s control.
